Candela GentleYAG Pro

The Candela GentleYAG Pro system offers an expert solution for the removal of unwanted body hair across all skin tones and hair types, selectively targeting hair follicles whilst leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed – ensuring a comfortable, safer treatment for your patient.

The GentleYAG Pro adopts an advanced variable pulse high-energy Nd: YAG laser with an emission of 1064nm, ideal for laser hair removal. This specialised laser device converts laser energy into heat, which is focused beneath the surface of the skin to specifically target hair follicles.

To enhance skin protection during treatment, the system uses either the Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD™) or the Air Cooling Compatible™ (ACC™) system, which can be used to maintain comfortable, safe skin temperatures during treatment. The GentleYAG Pro is operated via an intuitive user interface, allowing the user to quickly select the required treatment output based on the individual patient, their needs, and the intended result.

Candela’s Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) sprays a short cryogen burst just before the pulse to protect the epidermis and reduce pain. Air Compatible Cooling provides continuous cooled air before, during and after the pulse. Both improve tolerance and allow efficient fluence delivery.
